Hello,
My name is Raeanna Duncan. I am a board certified music therapist in the Douglas and Johnson County, Kansas area. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. After completing four years of course work and a six-month internship, I passed the Certification Board for Music Therapists in the Spring of 2019. As part of my education, I completed a six-month internship at the Lee Ann Britain Development Center, now known as the Britain Center at Advent Health Shawnee. During my internship, I worked with infants to six-year-olds with various disabilities. I also had the opportunity to co-treat with speech and language pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists. After graduating, I worked for Easterseals Midwest in Springfield, Missouri working primarily with individuals with Autism. Over the course of my education and professionally, I have experience working with individuals of all ages with Autism, various learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, memory loss, and physical disability.
I grew up in Baldwin City, Kansas and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve my hometown and surrounding areas. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, reading and watching HGTV. I also enjoy watching sports and cheering on the Royals and Jayhawks.
